Health Training Center’s Corporate Training Workshops are available in Phlebotomy techniques and EKG techniques as well as CPR AED HeartSaver Training. We can use your facility, if you wish, so that your employees are comfortable in a familiar environment. We seek to help develop your employees’ skills and ultimately to make them a more valuable asset to your practice. We offer the training workshops to private medical practices, eldercare/nursing facilities, hospitals, and other healthcare companies. We train all levels of professionals including RNs, BSNs, Medical Assistants, and other healthcare workers. We can tailor the training program to meet your specific needs. We can provide the proper training in the basics of different phlebotomy and/or EKG procedures or even go more in depth depending on your requirements. Attendees will practice their skills in class with other attendees. A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the training course; however, it does not qualify your attendees for national phlebotomy certification. This course is not intended for individuals seeking Phlebotomy Certification. It is solely for nurses and other selected healthcare workers seeking skills enhancement, and companies seeking to train their employees. BLS/CPR classes offered.

Academic Policies

Early registration is recommended to ensure your place in class. To register, complete the Registration Form and mail it along with a check, money order or credit card information to our Braintree Administrative Office. Keep a copy of your Registration Form. Until your Registration Form and down payment are received, you are not officially enrolled in the course(s) you have selected. All tuition payments should be received a minimum of one week (7 days) before each course’s first session to help ensure your space and to avoid a $20 late fee.

Being on time and attending all classes is expected. Lateness and absences will affect your grade. Missing approximately 20% of a class is grounds for suspension.

For classes which require an unpaid experience in order to complete the requirements of the Certificate, you must successfully complete the course work, be current on tuition, and submit all required medical records. Externships need to be completed during daytime hours, during the week, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day for Medical Assisting, and Phlebotomy. Externships must be started within 1 year of completion of your first term.

Late Payments

Any student who fails to pay any amount due in accordance with their Enrollment Agreement will be considered in default, and is liable for suspension from class sessions until tuition payment is made.

Massachusetts state laws determine how refunds are to be handled if a registered student withdraws. You will be refunded all payments if:

  • There are no vacancies in your selected course
  • The course is cancelled
  • You cancel in writing within five (5) days of registering before the classes start.
  • After 5 days of registration or if classes have begun, any cancellation will result in an Administrative Fee. Once class starts, there is a withdrawal charge of 25% of course costs, plus book costs and an Administrative Fee during the 1st quarter. After 1st quarter, withdrawal results in additional fees.

Contact an Admissions Representative and see the catalog for the full refund policy.

We provide liability insurance for appropriate courses and Externships. Student health insurance is recommended but not required. If you are hurt, injured or infected as a result of being a student or extern, you or your health insurance provider is responsible for all medical costs.
