E-signing your Student Financing Option

1. Go to your internet browser, enter www.slmfinancial.com

2. Click on Schools & Students. 

3. Under the Career Training Loan, click on Check Loan Status.

4. Enter the following information:
1. Borrower’s last and first name
2. Social Security number of Borrower
3. Borrower’s date of birth
4. Loan amount requested (cost of program)

5. Click Next. 

6. Click on your school name, found under School Name.

7. This directs you to a page asking if you are the borrower.  Click Next.

8. If you are a first time user, you will need to click on Register.  (found on the right side of the screen under First Time User)

9. Accept the Web Site Term of Use.  Click I Accept.

10. Now you will be prompted to enter in personal information such as a user name, password, security question, etc.  This will allow you to have access to your loan and check the status at any time.  (ie:  This process is very similar to a process you would complete to enroll in Online Banking with your bank)

11. Click Next.

12. This page gives you a summary of the information you entered.  Make sure everything is accurate.

13. Click Submit if everything is correct.  If you need to make corrections, please click the Make Corrections tab.

14. Now you are able to enter your User ID and password and log in to your account.  You now have access to your loan that you have taken out for your specific school.

15.   Enter your user name and password and log in to E-SIGN!  Click Next.

16.   Now you will see LOAN IN PROCESS, you will click on the GO (complete your private loan application) in the box.

17. To E-Sign your loan documents, click on complete E-sign.

18. Type in your last name, first name and middle initial to E-Sign your loan documents.

19. We strongly suggest you print your loan documents for you own reference.  If you do not have access to a printer you may choose for SLM Financial to mail them.

20. Click Next.  You have now E-Signed your loan document successfully.  Congratulations!
